Poisoning and toxicological emergencies continue to pose a significant global public health challenge. India alone reports an estimated 1.5–2 million poisoning cases annually, and accounts for nearly 50% of global snakebite deaths, underscoring the urgent need for timely recognition, evidence-based management, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Guided by the theme, “Bridging Clinical Toxicology and Justice: From Recognition to Resolution,” INTOX 2026 will bring together clinicians, toxicologists, emergency physicians, intensivists, forensic medicine specialists, researchers, and healthcare professionals to share knowledge, promote innovation, and strengthen the interface between clinical toxicology and medical jurisprudence.
